Two Chattanooga Hospitals Earn Spots in Top 10 Best in Tennessee

U.S. News and World Report released its ranking of the best regional hospitals in the U.S.; several from Tennessee made the list.

Regional hospitals are general hospitals, as opposed to specialty hospitals, that have earned high-performing ratings in at least nine procedures and conditions.

According to U.S. News and World Report, Tennessee’s best regional hospitals are:

  1. Vanderbilt University Medical Center in Nashville
  2. Baptist Memorial Hospital Memphis
  3. Methodist Hospitals of Memphis
  4. CHI Memorial Hospital in Chattanooga
  5. University of Tennessee Medical Center in Knoxville
  6. Ascension St. Thomas Hospital in Nashville
  7. TriStar Centennial Medical Center in Nashville
  8. Parkwest Medical Center in Knoxville
  9. Holston Valley Medical Center in Kingsport
  10. Erlanger Medical Center in Chattanooga
