It’s almost the time of year to turn back the clocks, meaning less daylight during the day.
Thanks to Daylight Saving Time, or DST, ending, people across the US, including in Tennessee, Georgia, Alabama, and North Carolina, will “fall back” an hour over the weekend.
At 2:00 am on Sunday, November 2, you must turn the clock back one hour to 1:00 am.
This means an extra hour of sleep on Sunday morning.
According to the Naval Observatory, as of 2007, Daylight Saving Time officially starts on the second Sunday in March of each year and ends on the first Sunday in November.
The next change will happen on March 8, 2026, when clocks will spring forward one hour.
