A vehicle accident that happened Tuesday on Cagle Mountain near Dunlap has left three people hospitalized, one victim being extracted from the vehicle, and one victim being flown by medical helicopter to an area hospital.
The two car accident happened at the intersection of Highway 8 and Highway 111 on Cagle Mountain Tuesday, November 18 around 5:00 PM CST.
Multiple agencies responded to assist with the accident including the Dunlap Fire Department, Sequatchie County Sheriff’s deputies, Tennessee Highway Patrol, Sequatchie County Rescue Squad, Piney Volunteer Fire Department, Cagle Volunteer Fire Department, and TDOT.
Currently there is no word on the cause of the accident or the names or conditions of anyone involved.
