One lane of TN-111 was closed early Thursday morning after a semi-truck caught on fire.
According to officials with the Hamilton County Sheriff’s Department, it happened in the 13000 block of the roadway on the Hamilton County side of the mountain.
Emergency crews responded to the incident and were forced to shut down one lane for about 45 minutes while they worked to extinguish the flames.
No injuries were reported, however the truck was reported as a total loss.
