Rockfall Mitigation Work Continues on I-24 near Monteagle Mountain
Tennessee Department of Transportation crews continue to work on Rockfall Mitigation on I-24 near MM 137 westbound near Monteagle Mountain.
The middle lane, right lane, and right shoulder have been closed. 2 Lanes of traffic have been shifted to flow on the left shoulder and left lane. All lanes will be reopened to traffic by May 22, 2026. Work will continue off the road after May 22, and the project will be completed by July 31, 2026.
