Gas Prices Soar

Due to the ongoing conflict in Iran, local drivers have observed a consistent increase in gasoline prices.

According to GasBuddy, the average price in the area has risen by 52 cents.

On Monday afternoon, the statewide average price for gas in Tennessee was $3.04 per gallon. Average prices in Marion County were $3.08, Grundy and Sequatchie Counties reported $3.05, and Bledsoe County averaged $3.14 per gallon. In Alabama prices were at $3.08 and in Georgia the average price per gallon stood at $3.23.
