The Tennessee Bureau of Investigation (TBI) has confirmed the agency has responded to a death investigation at a residence in the 400-block of Mail Loop Road in New Hope.
The investigation was requested by 12th Judicial District Attorney Courtney Lynch.
TBI officials say the investigation is in the early stages and remains active and ongoing at this time.
New Hope Police and the Marion County Sheriffs Department are assisting and ask the public to avoid the area at this time.
