A new dining option is now open in Marion County as Shawarma State has officially opened its’ doors Friday in Kimball Crossing in the former Subway location.
The restaurant was announced earlier this year as a new addition to the growing retail and dining development at Kimball Crossing.
Shawarma State brings a Mediterranean-inspired menu and a fresh culinary experience to the area, offering residents and travelers another local choice for dining.
Known for popular Middle Eastern dishes such as shawarma, wraps, rice bowls, and grilled specialties, restaurants of this style have continued to grow in popularity across the region in recent years.
Kimball Crossing has seen continued development and expansion, with several businesses and restaurants establishing locations near Interstate 24 recently, including both the full-service, casual dining chain Tony Roma’s and more recently a Zaxbys. The addition of Shawarma State is expected to further diversify dining options available to both local residents and visitors traveling through the area.
Shawarma State is open daily from 11 a.m. – 10 p.m., excluding some holidays.
