The average price of gasoline has risen in the Chattanooga area over the past week. Prices have seen an increase of 16.6 cents per gallon, averaging $2.71 per gallon as of Monday, July 14th, 2025, according to GasBuddy’s survey of 170 stations across the Chattanooga area. Area County Unemployment Rates for May 2025

The Tennessee Department of Labor and Workforce Development (TDLWD) has announced that every Tennessee county recorded an unemployment rate of 5% or less in May.
