Wildfire on South Pittsburg Mountain Contained on Tuesday Night

At 7:17 PM on Tuesday, June 25, a wildland fire was reported on South Pittsburg Mountain. Around 8 PM South Pittsburg Mountain Fire Department requested assistance from the Jasper Highlands Fire Department. The forestry service and the two fire departments contained the fire around 10:20 PM.
