Hiker Rescued after fall at “Pocket” State Park

At 10:35 PM Sunday, the Haletown Volunteer Fire Department was dispatched to I-24 westbound for a semi-truck fire. The truck was hauling watermelons and was burning mile-marker 167. Haletown Volunteer Fire Department Receives CSX Grant

The Haletown Volunteer Fire Department has announced that they have received a CSX Railroad grant of $5,000. These funds will be used towards cribbing and struts, giving the Haletown firefighters the rescue tools they need to provide vehicle extrication services.
