DUNLAP, Tenn. — The Sequatchie County Sheriff’s Office Narcotics Unit has arrested a 17-year-old from Chattanooga, after he delivered what is suspected to be 1,000 fentanyl pills to an agreed location in Sequatchie County.

The arrest comes as the result of a brief undercover operation.
The minor was arrested at the time of the delivery on July 6th, 2023, and is now in custody and charged with possession of a schedule II substance for resale.
He is awaiting a court date later this month.
Sequatchie County Sheriff Bill Phillips advised that he is glad to see the dangerous drugs removed from the streets and is thankful for the continued work done by the agency’s Narcotics Unit along with the assistance of the 12th Judicial District Drug Task Force and the Dunlap Police Department.
