An accident near the Marion and Sequatchie County line claims one life on Friday morning.
Officials with the Dunlap Fire Department say the crash happened around 9am on TN-28 in Sequatchie County when a car and pickup truck pulling a trailer hit head-on.
A third car was damaged by debris from the wreck, however there were no injuries to its driver.
The victim was extricated from the car by firefighters, but they did not survive. The victim has not been identified at this time, pending notification of family.
The driver of the pickup truck was taken to the hospital, and is expected to survive.
