Sequatchie County’s scenic overlook site on Highway 111 is temporarily closed.
According to officials with TDOT, the popular overlook on the southbound side of TN SR-111 that features naturally-panoramic views from high above the Sequatchie Valley and Dunlap, has been closed for a pipe repair.
Signs have been posted coming up the mountain from Dunlap to alert drivers and would-be sight-seers of the temporary closure.
TDOT says the work will be completed over the remaining weeks of July, with plans for the site to reopen by August 1st.
