The South Pittsburg High School Homecoming Parade will take place on Friday, September 15 at 2:00 PM CDT.
The Pirates will be hosting the Lookout Valley Yellowjackets at home in Beene Stadium with kick-off at 7:00 PM CDT.
According to SPHS, the parade route will begin at the high school at 7th and Elm and travel to 4th and Elm, turning left onto 4th street at SPES…then a right onto Holly Avenue (going behind SPES).Â
The parade will then turn right onto 3rd street heading back toward town, then taking a right onto Cedar Avenue. The parade will continue south on Cedar Avenue and will end at Beene Stadium — (see attached)..
Motorists are advised to plan alternate routes if traveling in or around the area during this time on Friday afternoon as delays could be expected. Detours will be available.
