One Lane Back Open on Hwy 111

One lane of traffic is back open on SR 111 North at Lewis Chapel Road in Sequatchie County, according to the Tennessee Department of Transportation.

TDOT plans to reopen the roadway fully in the next few weeks.

For now, crews are continuing to work on repairs to the mainline. Pipe failure is to blame for what looks like a sinkhole across the roadway.
