Missing Alabama Woman Located in Grundy County Deceased

Brenda Clark, 73, was recently reported missing out of Indian Springs, Ala. Authorities in Grundy County found the woman deceased in Beersheba Springs.

She was last seen Sept. 10 in Pelham and discovered Sept. 21 in a wrecked vehicle by Salazar Mowing employees. The grey Honda Civic had left the SR 56 roadway, traveled down an embankment, and landed on its top.

Grundy County Sheriff’s Department Chief Deputy Tracy Brown said Clark had injuries to her face, on the left side of her chin, and the right side of her eye and nose and was not wearing clothes.

Clark’s wallet, which contained her identification and other items, Clark’s clothing, and a cell phone were located inside the vehicle.

According to social media posts, Clark may have had undiagnosed dementia, and friends feared that she was lost and confused.
