On Saturday (9/28/2024), just after 11:00 AM, Dunlap Police responded to a local business concerning a report of two people passed out in a vehicle in the parking lot.
Upon arrival, officers made contact with the vehicle’s driver, Gunner Meeks, and the vehicle’s passenger, Hannah Rigsby. Officers found both parties unresponsive in the vehicle and appeared to be under the influence of drugs.
Officers located two smoking pipes with residue and approximately 14.1 grams of methamphetamine on Meeks. Meeks was placed under arrest, and upon walking him to the patrol car, he attempted to run from officers. Officers quickly regained control of Meeks and put him in a patrol car.
Officers located a smoking pipe and approximately .4 grams of methamphetamine on Rigsby. Rigsby was also placed under arrest.
Meeks was charged with DUI, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, Possession of Schedule II (Methamphetamine), Driving on a Suspended License, and Resisting Arrest.
Rigsby was charged with Public Intoxication, Possession of Schedule II (Methamphetamine), and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.
