Jasper’s “Jack-O-Lantern Jamboree” returns this Saturday

The annual Joshua K. Jennings “Jack-O-Lantern Jamboree” returns to the Marion County Courthouse Square in Jasper this Saturday.

The popular annual event is hosted by the Jasper Lion’s Club and the Town of Jasper offers a free, safe trunk-or-treating event filled with family fun, live entertainment, carnival games, petting zoo, great food, best costume contests, and more!

The event starts on Saturday morning with the Jack-O-Lantern Jamboree 5K Fun Run and Walk beginning at 9:00 AM CDT on the Courthouse Square. For those interested in participating, you can register at Active.com. The cost is $25 and shirts are available on first come basis. You can also sign-up the morning of the event on site.

Following the 5K — the main festivities including the trunk-or-treat, carnival and other events begins at 4:00 PM CDT and continues until 8:00 PM CDT.

Organizers ask for any questions to be directed to the Jasper City Hall at 423-942-3180 and invite you to bring out the whole family for this great annual event in downtown Jasper.
