TVA will try once again to perform maintenance to the transmission lines serving Sequachee Valley Electric Cooperative’s (SVEC) Brush Creek substation this weekend.
Weather permitting, the planned outage will take place between 12:30 AM to 4:30 AM on Saturday, March 22, 2025.
This will result in an outage for most of Sequatchie County, parts of southern Bledsoe County, north Marion County, and portions of western Hamilton County.
If you live within the affected areas and lose power outside of projected outage time, SVEC asks for you to contact their 24/7 outage line at 888-421-7832 or report the outage through their SmartHub app.
The outage has been scheduled on several previous dates, but crews were unable to perform the necessary maintenance due to inclement weather conditions.
