On Tuesday, September 16, 2025, the school resource deputy assigned to the Chattanooga Center for Creative Arts was made aware of a student who had made threats of mass violence involving students.
During the investigation, school administrators discovered that the same student had shown students a journal containing a hit list.
Based on the investigation, the child was arrested for Threats of Mass Violence and transported to the Hamilton County Juvenile Detention Center.
