The Sequatchie County Sheriff’s Office is investigating the discovery of a body found deep in the woods in the Flat Mountain Road area of Fredonia Mountain. There is reason to believe this is likely to be the remains of a recently reported missing person, Morgan Davis, however, due to the condition of the body, investigators are unable to make a positive identification at this time.
The body has been transported to the State Medical Examiner’s Office in Nashville for autopsy. Cause of death is not known at this time.
