Multiple agencies from around the area responded to a structure fire earlier this week on Sequatchie Mountain.
The fire happened on Monday night, November 17th, at a home on Sequatchie Mountain Road.
Foster Falls Volunteer Fire Department was dispatched to the scene along with mutual aid from Jasper Volunteer Fire Department, Sequatchie Volunteer Fire Department, Tracy City Volunteer Fire Department, Fire Rehab Services, and the Marion County Sheriff’s Department.
The homeowner was able to get out of the home to safety, however the structure was a total loss.
At this time no word has been given on the cause of the fire.
