DUNLAP, Tenn. — Voters in Sequatchie County and surrounding communities will have an opportunity to meet candidates seeking public office during an upcoming community event hosted by the Sequatchie Valley Conservatives.
The organization has announced its “Spotlight on the Candidates” event, scheduled for Saturday, June 13, 2026, in Dunlap. Organizers say the event is designed to give candidates a platform to share their views, discuss issues important to local residents, and connect directly with voters from across the Sequatchie Valley region.
Candidates running for offices serving Sequatchie County and neighboring districts have been invited to participate. The event is expected to provide community members with an opportunity to learn more about those seeking elected office ahead of upcoming elections.
According to organizers, the forum will focus on helping voters become better informed while encouraging civic engagement throughout the valley.
In addition to candidate participation, organizers are also seeking volunteers to assist with event preparations on Friday and with various activities during Saturday’s program.
The Sequatchie Valley Conservatives are encouraging residents to spread the word about the event and invite others to attend.
