FLAT ROCK, Ala. — Jackson County Public Works has announced that a bridge over Kash Creek in Flat Rock on County Road 81 will be closed for replacement beginning Monday, July 6, 2026.
According to a public notice issued by the department, the bridge is located on County Road 81 between County Road 685 and State Route 117, in the 700 block of County Road 81 in Flat Rock.
Officials said the bridge will remain closed continuously for the duration of the project, which is expected to take approximately three months. The timeline could vary depending on weather conditions and other unforeseen circumstances.
Motorists are advised to use alternate routes during the closure.
