Monday is the first full day for many school systems in our area. Students are back in class in Marion, Grundy, Sequatchie, and Bledsoe counties. Jackson County, AL began on Friday. The first full day at Richard Hardy Memorial School is Thursday, August 10.

91 year-old Dies while Walking Across a Street in Pikeville Late Friday Night in Pikeville

According to a Tennessee Highway Patrol preliminary report, a 91-year-old man was fatally hit walking across Pikeville’s Main Street late Friday night. Eston C.
