Local Firefighters Busy on Saturday Night

At 6:51 Saturday night, Haletown Volunteer Fire Department responded to Interstate 24 WB MM 159 for an RV fire. Fire Near Ladds Substation on Sunday Night

At 7:41 Sunday night, Haletown Volunteer Fire Department responded to a multi-acre wildland fire near the Ladds Substation. Jasper, Jasper Highlands, and Kimball Fire Departments were called for water and manpower to keep the fire from spreading to nearby residences and businesses. The fire was brought under control, and no injuries were reported.
