Fire Near Ladds Substation on Sunday Night

At 7:41 Sunday night, Haletown Volunteer Fire Department responded to a multi-acre wildland fire near the Ladds Substation. Jasper, Jasper Highlands, and Kimball Fire Departments were called for water and manpower to keep the fire from spreading to nearby residences and businesses.
