RV Destroyed in Fire

On Friday at 1:09 PM, the Haletown Volunteer Fire Department responded to Chesadu Circle for an RV Fire. Haletown and New Home, GA Fire Departments battled the flames. The fire was contained from reaching other nearby structures, but the RV was a total loss. There were no injuries to residents or firefighters.

Stolen Polaris Razor Reported

A 2016 Polaris Razor 1000 XP was reported as stolen from 600 Choctaw Trail off Hwy 27 (Suck Creek Mountain) between 10:30 PM on March 26, 2024, and 6 PM on March 27. If you have any information regarding this theft, please contact the Marion County Sheriff’s Department at 423-942-2525.
