Marion County Woman Missing for One Month Found Safe

34 year-old Kisha Tozier of South Pittsburg went missing on May 16, 2024. Authorities and her family and friends have been searching for her since. On Saturday the Marion County Sheriff’s Department reported that Tozier had been found safe. No other information was released.

Tractor Stolen from Marion County Location

On the morning of Sunday, Oct. 8, 2023, a deceased female was located in the parking lot of a Monteagle, TN restaurant. On Tuesday the Marion County Sheriff’s Department responded to the call shortly after 5 pm regarding an accident at the first curve on Highway 108 going up Whitwell Mountain. There was one subject flown out by Lifeforce for treatment of injuries received in the crash. No other information was released by the authorities.

Husband and Wife from Whitwell Die in Tragic Car Crash on Sunday

According to reports, Whitwell residents 55-year-old Dwight Vandergriff and 58-year-old Barbara Vandergriff died in a head-on crash on Highway 108 north of Whitwell on Sunday. The roadway was closed after the accident took place on Sunday morning.
