Dunlap Fire Department Responds to another Brush Fire

On Saturday (11-18-2023) at 3:23 PM, Dunlap Fire Department was dispatched for mutual aid to Lone Oak VFD for a brush fire in the area of Dandy Road off Hwy 127. Firefighters responded with Waldens Ridge Emergency Service and Tennessee Forestry. The fire was extinguished. No structures were damaged, and no injuries were reported.

A wildfire that started Sunday evening on Whitwell Moutain forced the evacuation of the nearby Bolt Farm Treehouse campground.
