Around 7 PM Sunday, Haletown Volunteer Fire Department responded to Interstate 24 near mile-marker at the I-59 split for a car fire. Haletown Engines 1 and 2 responded alongside the North Dade Fire Department and extinguished the fire. There were no injuries to occupants or firefighters.
